Vietnamese Dark (Puerh) Tea

Wild Dark Teas

Vietnamese Dark (Puerh style) Tea

The province of Ha Giang is the northern most in Vietnam and is separated from Yunan Province in China only by the Nho Que (or Nanli) River.  There is a good deal of common history and this also extends to tea where post fermented dark (Puerh style) teas continue to be made today.  In fact, it is said that a sigificant amount of the wild tea leaves grown in the Vietnamese mountains end up in Chinese Puerh tea cakes.

Currently we offer a loose leaf cooked post fermented dark tea known as Dark Forest Tea but hope to add pressed raw and cooked cakes to our range in the near future.  Check back for updates.
