This season’s Oriental Beauty has been subject to a slightly longer oxidation with more golden tips than in previous years to produce the best possible tea in the conditions. The unique honey and muscatel character is abundant as are the typical stone fruit flavours, although these are less apparent than in previous years. Sweet potato and vanilla notes can also be detected. The 2022 Oriental Beauty also provides an impressive warm and sweet finish from the mouth to the back of the throat.
Oriental Beauty is produced on the Moc Chau plateau at altitudes between 1100 and 1200 metres. It is truly a rare tea of great quality.

I thought Floating Cloud is the best tea I have ever tasted. I was wrong. I am officially becoming the biggest fan of Oriental Beauty. The tea is so delicate. The way it develops is truly beautiful. Good name. :) And the smell. It reminds me of all the good things that happened in my life so far. I cannot really put it into words. It's the warmth of my grandma, the sunny skies of my home town, the adventure of a journey, the excitement of a new love.

Buy this tea! This is one of those situations where I hate say "for the price", because it doesn't do the tea justice. This tea is a fantastic example of oriental beauty at any price, but for THIS price? Buy this tea, buy it, buy it now. I bought 100g to try and then went back and bought darn near a pound the next week. It really is that good.
