This excellent black tea is another in our lineup of exceptional teas from the high mountains of Y Ty, just a few short kilometres from the border with China. Eagle Wings has a wonderful luxurious aroma that juggles woody scents with dried rose, malty and medicinal elements.

Eagle Wings brews with a brisk, bright medium-bodied dark amber liquor. Tasting notes are complex featuring muscatel, raisins, nutmeg, toffee, and chocolate. The long aftertaste provides the sweet sophistication reminiscent of maple syrup.

Eagle Wings has been several years in the making in collaboration with a family of Dao ethnicity. Black tea processing is relatively new to the mountain areas of Vietnam, and it has taken a while to perfect the techniques and timing. The wild grown tea leaves are withered, hand-rolled, oxidised, and sun-dried.
