Delicious vanilla aroma, a creamy pale buttermilk liquor and captivating notes of melon, grapefruit and spice. Blessed with the trademark white tea sweetness, Phoenix Tail’s medium bodied liquor is delightfully refreshing both in mouthfeel and as it reaches into the throat.

Phoenix Tail is made by a Dao ethnic tea-maker using leaf buds harvested from larger, older trees on the family’s own land. The leaves are then slowly withered and dried by a combination of soft sunlight and gentle wind. Although white tea is frequently presented as the least processed of teas, the skill and attention required to make a great one cannot be underestimated. Phoenix Tail is an outstanding example of a job well done.
