Floating Cloud is a sensational buds only white tea that has been jointly developed to our requirements by a master tea maker from Suoi Giang in Yen Bai province.  It is an elegant and complex tea that produces a delightfully sweet liquor with a symphony of notes that range between infusions from honeysuckle, sugar cane, walnuts, pine and fresh ginger.  It has an excellent body and a smooth, sweet aftertaste. 

Floating Cloud is a hand crafted tea that undergoes an extended wither in and out of the sun followed by gentle stirring and drying to create a truly exceptional, luxurious and unique tea.  It is made from wild tree leaf buds that after harvesting are carefully sorted and selected by hand prior to processing.

Suoi Giang (literally: heavenly river) is a small commune located in the misty mountains of Yen Bai province.  It nestles in an area surrounded by the ancient shaded forests, at altitudes between 1300 and 1400 metres, where wild tea trees have been grown by ethnic minority families for many hundreds of years.  H'Mong families continue to harvest the leaves today either for their own consumption as fresh tea or for processing as dried leaves.  Apart from tea the district is also known for sticky rice and hot springs.
