Silver Dew White Tea is a close companion of our popular Floating Cloud. Sourced from the same location and tea maker, the primary difference is that while Floating Cloud is buds only, Silver Dew is processed using the bud and first young leaf. The result is to trade an element of the buds only sweetness for added depth and complexity.

From its attractive leaves to its champagne coloured liquor, Silver Dew is a tea drinker’s delight. Multi-layered flavours transition from cool and fresh to deep and sweet with notes of sugarcane, nectar, dried flowers and wood. The presence of young leaves introduces a moderate astringency allowing each sip to reverberate in the mouth and into the throat.

Silver Dew shares most of its processing steps with Floating Cloud with slight variations to manage the rate and duration of moisture loss during withering and drying. This careful process requires continuous monitoring alternating between mountain sunlight and periods indoors.
