An uncharacteristically dry spell in June provided perfect conditions to make this early batch of 2023 Oriental Beauty. The drier conditions produced thicker, higher quality leaves for the leafhoppers to feast on allowing for the tea to processed toa lower oxidation than in 2022.  

This season’s Oriental Beauty is more typical of our earlier offerings. The unique honey and muscatel character is abundant as are the typical stone fruit flavours. The standout feature of this year's batch is the quality of overall mouthfeel experience. Wonderful aromas and an incredibly smooth and full tea liquor that will delight from the tip of the nose to the bottom of the throat with a long and sweet aftertaste.  

Oriental Beauty is produced on the Moc Chau plateau at altitudes between 1100 and 1200 metres.  It is truly a rare tea of great quality.
