
Vietnam Chai Tea

We first produced our own Vietnam Chai mix four or five years ago. It was inspired by the time we spent in India in 2012 although it is made entirely with Vietnam sourced ingredients. The Chai mix has been so popular with Vietnamese customers that we decided to make it available overseas.
The base of the mix is a wild black tea from Yen Bai. It is the same source as Wild Boar black tea except that the finished tea is cut into small pieces at the end of processing. The mix is completed by blending with selected mountain grown cardamon and cinnamon selected from the tea regions; ginger from central Vietnam; cloves from Nghe An; and black pepper from Phu Quoc Island – one of the best known pepper producing areas in southeast Asia.
Vietnam Chai is suitable to use in your favourite recipe, either hot or iced.
